Risus mos prolato vestri vita

Keep Portland Weird! That is what all the bumper stickers say..
I think this van has it covered!!
We are not 100 percent sure, on the Latin phrase on the side of the van. Mom knows her plant Latin and Dad know his alter boy Latin.
We think it means, "Laughter prolongs your life".
When we pulled up to the side, the monkey was waving and jumping up and down...the driver had a clown nose. We were laughing so hard we almost crashed the car. So much for prolonging your life!
Our destination...The family Christmas tree farm, to see the newest family member 'Helen', but first....
...here's 'Mikey' the Plott Hound.
Mikey is a graduate of 'Project Pooch'.
An Oregon non profit, that pairs youths, incarcerated in the Maclaren Correctional Facility, with homeless shelter dogs.
This program has been in place since 1993.  Helping youths find their way and dogs find their forever homes.

Mikey welcomes Uncle Don, with lots of kisses.
Aunt Diann and Pebbles
Mikey sits on cousin Tim.
There she is...baby 'Helen'
All smiles and bubbles!
The monkey van was right...Laughter is a good thing!!
Love,
Wyatt

  6. Love the van and the monkey! You've probably just added several years to your lives.

Helen's a cutie. If you get close, give her a quick lick. Babies usually have snacks left on their faces.

  9. That van is really something else. Lots of hard work involved. But oh the laughs it must invoke.

What a sweetie that Baby Helen is, such a pretty face.

Lots of nice pups there too. And what an awesome program for troubled teens to help out the pups - a win/win situation.
