Wake up bees!!

The blossoms were a month late this year...
but Hood River is in full bloom now!

Blossoms in all directions as far as the eye can see!

So, Wake up bees!
Get to work!
do your pollination thing!
There are pies to be made and cobbler to be eaten!

"HELLO BEES!"  "Are you in there?"

I better mind my own business...
Wyatt

  2. Looks like OR. is in full bloom. Very beautiful. Our dillys just opened up on Friday! It's a bit colder where our cabin is than in town. The tulips haven't even put out flower buds yet.

  3. OH the flowers & trees are looking real lovely but Stanzie, please be careful of those bees. They aren't very friendly. And that's a very good idea, Wyatt.

  11. We haven't seen too many bees here, this year. I'm wondering about that bee killing mite infestation they've suffered in recent years.

Bring on the pies and cbbler!

  23. How beautiful is that! Wow! But watch out Wyatt. I still remember how my nose got all swollen up when I got stung and I had to go get a shot. I don't want that to happen to you.
Our trees finally have buds on them and they should be opening up very soon. We just need some sunshine.
So what's up with those bees, are they still sleeping? Maybeeee they are on holiday?

  26. You don't want to go getting biten by one of those things...just let them bee (haha) and watch from a distance. I got bit by one once and I thought I'd pass out right there in the yard...barked and cried like someone cut off my leg!!

  29. I agree, leaving the bees to their own devices seems prudent! Our flowers are all a month behind, too. You have some really beautiful ones there by you, though!

  30. Oh, Wyatt, you bee careful. I don't think its a good idea to be sticking your nose in the bushes looking for a bees nest.
