Fun Stuff to Do, Day One

Auntie Mary gave us this advent calendar.
Fun Stuff to Do
While We're Waitin' for Christmas

We are going to do ALL 24 things.
Fun for the whole family (human pups too)...Bark, Bark, Meow!

Before you know it, Christmas will be HERE!!

#1
Make up new lyrics to your favorite Christmas song.
The sillier the better!

Wyatt's White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a new stuffie
Just like the ones I used to know
Before I shred them
Before I behead them
Before, Stanzie buries them in the snow.

I'm dreaming of a full dog dish
With every drumstick that I spy
May your bowl be heaped up, real high
And may all your meals end with pie!

See you tomorrow with Fun Thing #2

Wyatt's Wisdom

If stamps tasted like chicken....

and envelopes tasted like liver

I would have my cards in the mail by now!

Black and Tan Sunday

This big package is for me...right?

It's hard to stay focused on gifts, when I keep seeing things I want for myself....

Who is that handsome dog over there?

Thanks Bridgeport Village, for being a dog friendly place to stroll and a special thanks to Orvis for being a dog friendly store!

The big question

Here's how Stanzie and I spent Thanksgiving....
First, I spent all morning taking Stanzie's pretty scarf off her neck, I thought it looked dumb.

"Is it done yet?"

Stanzie..."Is it done yet?"

I have my bib on..."Is it done yet?"
87 hours later.... we ate THE TURKEY.
Yum

Are there any leftovers?

Christmas came EARLY!!

Our Christmas Cards came today!!!!!!
They were custom made for us, by Reilly's mom, over at

Each one is an original, like a beautiful snowflake.
We love them SOOOO much, we might have trouble putting stamps on them and sending them away....

Did we just bark that out loud?
Santa, if you heard that, we were just kidding...we are going to send out the cards!

Thank you dogs and Many Thanks to your most talented mom.

If you ask, Reilly's mom might have time to make some more cards for you, with your breed's picture!

Reilly, Denny and Jackie (the Dweeb), also sent Me Us some treats in the same box!

MOM!!! Wyatt is not sharing!!!

Santa is watching.....

Doing Chores with Dad

I'm helping my dad today.

We are picking out sprinkler parts.

I would like to buy some new holiday lights, but dad said we are not here for that today :(

I wonder if we are here for some or these items????

Putting Cate to Work!

My Cousin Cate, wanted to see what it is like to be a landscaping dog.
So, today I showed her how the Big Dales roll.
I took her to my favorite nursery and we picked out some plants.

Look Cate! These have pink flowers. Girls like pink, right?

I showed her where the peacocks are at the nursery!

We stalked the flock of young peacocks.
Terrier fun was had by all!

Then, we went back to Cate's and I showed her how to plant.

She told me, that she already knows how to dig holes and she doesn't need a stupid shovel!
She's bossy, but she has potential.

I took a break from planting, to rip the arms off her Panda.
I think I will be getting Cate a new bear for her birthday.

The Portland 'Puddles'

The other night while chewing reading the Willamette Week. I spotted this ad in the pet classifieds, for a Dachshund named Puddles!
(At first, I thought it was the Blogville Puddles...then I read her bio...Nope, no mention of Cheetos, beer or a flying laundry basket.)
October 27th
Puddles
Puddles! An inspiration to big boned Dachshunds everywhere! Puddles is a true champion that doesn’t let her physique stop her from achieving her dreams - to run in the 2016 Summer Olympics! Every morning Puddles puts on her sweatbands, cranks up Eye of the Tiger and begins her endless laps up and down the Pixie Project Ramp. After a mid-morning power protein shake she does 100 crunches, 50 pull ups and finishes off with an hour of yoga. We interviewed Puddles recently about her routine, when asked what her favorite workout was she didn’t hesitate to say “why, my evening cuddle of course! It works the abs, the glutes and really strengthens my core.” Just yesterday she had to punch a new hole in her collar which inches smaller than when she started. Want to know all of her secrets? Buy her new book “Cuddles with Puddles – Snuggle Your Way to a Whole New You.” She is now taking applications for a new cuddle partner, think you can handle it? Fill out the application at pixieproject.org and send it in so we can schedule a meet and greet! Puddles is 4 years old, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
