Getting to know YOU...Mr. Rat

Welcome to my party!
Today, I invited all my local pals from the Oregon Airedale Terrier Society over to my house to have lunch and meet some rats!

Us dogs waited patiently for our people to have a meeting and some potluck.
Then we had a 'Barn Hunt' Demo.
We all learned the rules of Barn Hunting.

Then, one by one we each got to meet a REAL RAT "up close and personal".

Allie says:
"Holy Ratatouille!!"

Stanzie knew what to do!

Stanzie wanted to take lots of turns to meet the rat.

Samson liked the rat A LOT.

Our special guests proved that you don't have to be an Airedale Terrier to be interested in vermin hunting.

We practiced with hay bales too. Looking for the hidden rat in a tube...

Tunneling and jumping through the hay.

Finally, rewarding ourselves with a cool drink, for a job well done!

Thanks to Janet and Ron for giving a great presentation and introduction to Barn Hunt!
Thanks to all the O.A.T.S. dogs and their owners for joining in the fun!

Wyatt and Stanzie
