Wet Dog Weekend

It was a COLD and RAINY Saturday and
we drove across town, to look for RATS at the BARN HUNT!
Despite the waiting and walking in the rain.
All the dogs enjoyed themselves, snooping through the hay looking for the rat.
Unfortunately or maybe fortunately there are no pictures of US, Wyatt and Stanzie, because the folks couldn't handle us and take pictures at the same time.
So, here is what you missed....
I peed on all the hay bales!

Sister Stanzie found the rat every time IN SECONDS, did not jump on the hay bales and she peed on the hay too!

Being "Disqualified" was never so much fun!

Wyatt and Stanzie

(No rats were harmed in the Barn Hunt. They are safe in a tube, us dogs just sniff em'.)

Sleepover at Kendall's!

What's that you say, Kendall? You need my green paws to do some digging at your beach house?

Is this the way to your house?

I like your style, Kendall! A big yard with a fence for us dogs and a nice place for the folks to eat.
But where are YOU, Kendall?
I see your stuff...and I admit that I tried to steal your 'Angry Bird' stuffed toy, but my mom made me put it up......my bad?

We ran on YOUR beach after work.

Stanzie was so happy.

We ate treats.

Kendall, my dad needs your help with the TV remote...BOL!

We had a great time Kendall, the only thing missing was YOU!

Luv,
♥♥♥Wyatt and Stanzie♥♥♥

Fastest scoop in the west!

Here's a fun game to play and a good way to increase your poop scooping speed and accuracy!
Section off a 10' x 10' area. Sprinkle 60 Milkbones inside the area.

Get a poop scooper.....
See how many Milkbones you can scoop up in 30 seconds!!

Amaze your friends and neighbors with your scoop-abilities!

Moon and Stars

I'm growing these mini wally melons.
'Moon and Stars'

They have pretty polka dotty leaves and yellow spots on the fruit.
Everyday mom "thumps" them and I lick them.
How do you know when they are ripe?

We want wally melon!!

Who is this baby and what is a Huggie?
Is there something you need to tell us, Mom?

I do like the looks of these hanging stuffie things.
Oh, these are presents for a friend...phew.
I was worried for a minute.

Are you sure there is nothing here for me?
I thought I WAS the baby?

Getting to know YOU...Mr. Rat

Welcome to my party!
Today, I invited all my local pals from the Oregon Airedale Terrier Society over to my house to have lunch and meet some rats!

Us dogs waited patiently for our people to have a meeting and some potluck.
Then we had a 'Barn Hunt' Demo.
We all learned the rules of Barn Hunting.

Then, one by one we each got to meet a REAL RAT "up close and personal".

Allie says:
"Holy Ratatouille!!"

Stanzie knew what to do!

Stanzie wanted to take lots of turns to meet the rat.

Samson liked the rat A LOT.

Our special guests proved that you don't have to be an Airedale Terrier to be interested in vermin hunting.

We practiced with hay bales too. Looking for the hidden rat in a tube...

Tunneling and jumping through the hay.

Finally, rewarding ourselves with a cool drink, for a job well done!

Thanks to Janet and Ron for giving a great presentation and introduction to Barn Hunt!
Thanks to all the O.A.T.S. dogs and their owners for joining in the fun!
