The Food Edition

Ron and Emily took our peeps all around town to TASTE it all. There was one tourist stop for beignets, but most of the joints were corner neighborhood cafes that the locals enjoy.

Gumbo, Shrimp Creole, PoBoys, Fried Chicken, Fried Pork Chops, Salad with Fried Beef Jerky, Catfish, Oysters, Crawfish, Red Beans and Rice, Shrimp and Grits, Greens, Beignets, Pralines, Snoballs...................
It's ALL GOOD!

Poboys a plenty!  Catfish PoBoy and Cochon de Lait (Pork) PoBoy, YUM!
Oysters, Oysters, Oysters oh MY!

If an establishment has been in business for 78 years and there is a waiting line down the street...it's a no brainer!
ALWAYS save room for dessert and don't wear white when tackling a strawberry snoball.

Next time, Wyatt and Tegan want to GO!
(at least we got gifts)

  3. the small local places are always THE best. Mom says those would be her kind of snowballs:) Now that we are all drooling with the yummy food, guess we need to get to NOLA too.
