We have been hitting garage sales and vintage shops. We almost have enough wooden water skis to make a chair!

So, I'm walking around the campus, with my sister Stanzie and what do we see?

A squirrel jumping out of the garbage can!

When we walk up,  pull on the leashes frantically to see him, he climbs up the wall!

"We need to figure out how to climb walls Stanzie! "

They sell these giant washable beds.

Mom lets me drag mine outside to sunbathe.

They sell these giant boxes of healthy biscuits.

Wet Nose brand, made about 200 miles from here.

No wheat, corn, soy or preservatives!

I like to read the labels!

I especially like this part that says, "A 50-70 lb dog can have 10 a day!!"

"C'mon Mom, I need 8 more...The Box Says So!!"

A Terrier's Dream Day!

Today was 'Lure Course Day' for the Oregon Airedale Terrier Society!

Look how excited I am!

I see the course, I see the pelt, I remember!

We do a bit of mingling first. 

That handsome lad in the front, is my litter brother, Lupe.

He came down from Seattle, with his Wheaten brother, Clancy.

That's our mom in the back, she is always happy to see her boys!

Evan explains to Woody how the Lure Course works.

And, we are off!!

Cousin Cate and I, decide to tag team.

For some reason, I take my leash out there. Maybe if Cate catches it, I can leash that critter up...do you think?

Penny, the Kerry Blue Terrier knew how to get the job done!!

Clancy the Wheaten, was having the best time! 

Bartley the Border Terrier, could turn on a dime and caught that pelt a couple of times!

Woody looked like a lion on the Serengeti.

The best part was catching that critter and doing the 'Wyatt Rodeo'.

It was my kind of day!!

Chase it Down!

It is no secret that terriers have a high prey drive.

Lure Coursing is the perfect sport for Airedales!

A furry pelt, races around a track of string. The operator has the ability to speed up the pelt or change direction at anytime.

That furry critter whips around the yard like the REAL deal!

Here is one of my brothers, chasing it down.

This Saturday, I will be revisiting the Lure Course!

This time, I plan on catching it!

Plants fur mom

I'm a lucky dog, my mom is easy to shop for.

If Stanzie and I get her some plants for Mother's Day, she is a happy mama.

How fortunate that we discovered on our college walk yesterday, it was the CCC annual plant sale.

They had lots of really good stuff...some veggies, herbs and flowers for $1.

I say...SHOP SHOP SHOP terrier mama, that is within my budget!

So, she got in a line, about a block long.

We came home and finished planting the veggie garden, made a couple of flower baskets for my Grandmas and all is good with the world!
