My toy from Barbara!!

Look what came in the mail for me, Wyatt!!
It's from Barbara over at, 'If I didn't have a sense of humor!'
She had a give-a-way.
I had to comment on why I would like a new toy.
I told her that I would like a new toy, but I did not deserve a new toy, based on my record of preserving new toys....
This time it will be different, you'll see!
Stanzie, get out of here, this is mine!
Stanzie, I'm warning you.."LET GO!"
I'm not kidding....STANZIE, leave it!!

Thank you, Barbara!
We love it and it has only had one minor boo boo, so far :)

Who wants to go to the Tulip Farm?

I Do! I Do!!
Stanzie says, "ME TOO!"
Will there be 'Wyatt' tulips?
Maybe so...
Will there be windmills and wooden shoes?
Yes Yes Yes!

Thanks, Holland America Bulb Farm in
Woodland Wa.
We had a great day!

Photo Scavenger Hunt

If you follow George the Lad, you will remember that in March, he did a photo scavenger hunt.
We loved the idea and decided to play along. We always have a camera by our side and thought it would be fun to look for photo opps from the list, as we go about our business.

The list every month is at  Postcards from the P.P.
Check it out, snap some pics and send them to her flicker's FUN!!

We took all the pictures this month, with the exception of the sculpture picture that was taken in March.

Something Yellow
My Camera
A Church
A Cross
A Sculpture
A set of keys
An interesting shop name
April Showers
Something Shakespeare
A picture of St. George's Day Festivities
(We had to cheat on this one, because we could not find anything in Portland that represented St. George!) This one is for you, George!  You will always be a saint in Stanzie's eyes.

Happy Snapping!

Around the town with W and S

We just love the cement sofa up at the college!
Furniture fur dogs...just some occasional moss control and you're good to go!
Stanzie critiques a new art installation...
She's not so sure about boulders in a box.

The blooms up at Washington Park.

My state flower, The Oregon Grape.
It's pretty, but kind of stickery.

I declare the daffodil my state flower!!
Maybe, I should alert Governor Kitzhaber of the change.
I'm sure he won't mind, after all, I am the Secretary of Agriculture in Blogville!

Meeting new relatives, walks and cupcakes.

Our new baby cuzin,  Clyde.
Our other new Cuzin, Anna.
Easter was a POM-a-Palooza!!

We got in several good walks.
Elk Rock Garden at Bishops Close...

You can see the Willamette River from up here!
Stanzie was impressed with the view.
That is a long way down..scary, scary!

Sniffin' the trail
Lookin' for lucky Shamrocks
Hanging out in the shade.
Admiring the ground cover.
Posing with the 'TWO-LIPS'
Working up an appetite for tulip cupcakes!
It was a good weekend!
