Daddy's Sick

We tried to steer clear of anyone with a runny nose...but Daddy got the big snuffles and he feels bad.

Mama is making him chicken soup with lots of mushrooms, celery, cilantro, broth and some hot sauce to clear those sinuses.

Tegan now has her own drawer in the dresser.....OH, for dogs sake!

 



Ice brought our holiday travel plans to a screeching halt!

 

We took some nice walks around the neighborhood.

 

Tegan started reading her new book from Uncle Lupe.

We encourage her to be her best self in 2018.....sigh

 

 My new motto for 2018...

 

Sleep with your toys and keep one eye open.

Our Christmas Traditions

Our Christmas traditions start right after Halloween!

Dad starts playing Christmas music around November 1st and the holiday DVDs and the Hallmark channel are on 24/7. (Yes, REALLY)

 

We dive into ALL things delicious, the foodables that are not on any diet.

Fancy dinners with friends, lots of cookies....you know the drill!

 

We seek out festive lights.

 

We remember the reason for the season.

 

We dress up.

 

Our favorite tradition, is the time we spend together outdoors.

With the chilly temperatures, we were anxious to try The Honest Kitchen's Bone Broth.

What a great way to dress up that kibble and hydrate after a winter hike!

 

95% beef bone broth plus nourishing parsley, pumpkin and turmeric extract

Can be used as a treat or poured on kibble for a little extra moisture

Makes about 10 cups of delicious broth

No corn, wheat, soy or GMO ingredients

Great for both dogs and cats

 

 

It was very easy to mix 2 tablespoons with a cup of warm water.

The bowls were licked inside and out, until every last bit of parsley was gone!
