Sunny Newport, Oregon!

We were fortunate to have sunny skies, no wind and 60 degrees!

In January.....Bow Wow!

This was our 4 day Newport weekend with Evelyn, Wyatt, Sue, Carol, Mark, Karla, Indy, Laura, Cate, Jed, Paul and Tegan!

We walked and walked.....

Samson's dad had a birthday, so there was cake!

We made an Airedale puzzle too...haha

We saw the Sea Lions sleeping after dark.

There was a fancy dinner....

 and a casual outside picnic in the dunes.

Still can't believe it is January!!

Greenies Pill Pockets for CATS!

 Good things come in small packages!

Pill Pockets for Cats? We don't have a cat, did Chewy.com send us a cat?

Look in the box again!!

Gosh, these feline Greenies Pill Pockets smell wonderful and I see they have the same ingredients as the canine pill pockets, with the added Dried Chicken Liver!!

Sometimes, I have to take a pill, when I do something "terrier-like". 

Like jump off the 10' high deck without a parachute!

Pills taste gross, but feline chicken-flavored Pill Pockets make those pills go down like the bestest treat ever!

My pills are little and I'm little, so it works for me.

1/2 the price and 1/3 less calories too.

Bigger doggies like my brother 'Wyatt', should purchase the canine Greenies Pill Pockets.

They have lots of yummy flavors. Wyatt likes the peanut butter flavor the best!

So, if you are little like a cat and you act like a cat (or you are a CAT) and you like chicken liver and you don't like pills...

The first blooms of the year

Sunday it was 52 degrees!

We started our day with a 3 mile walk around the golf course.

Later, we poked around the garden and discovered that several things were starting to bloom.

The Cherry tree is starting to do it's thing.

We cut a few rosemary branches too, for a potato recipe that will be prepared later in the week.

Spring is weeks away, but a few winter blooms and a few dry days like today, will tide us over!

Easy Walk Harness

How HAPPY I'm I,

 that Chewy.com sent me a new harness for walking!?!?

I always wear a harness that clips in the front, because I'm a puller!

This is my 3rd Easy Walk Harness! I've had grey, red and now APPLE GREEN.

We keep using the Easy Walk Harness because it works for me and it works well for my people.

It keeps me from pulling like a sled dog on the Iditarod Trail and that makes my people happy!

I get the medium-large size and it's super easy to adjust to my handsomely rugged body.

I'm so happy for any excuse to get my folks off the couch and take me out in this kind of weather.

Rain, Snow, Sleet bring it on!

Grandma Evelyn is HERE

A few weeks ago, we started painting and fixing up the main floor guest room.

Then, right after Christmas, guess who moved in with us?

Grandma Evelyn and her little Pomeranian 'Samantha'!

We LOVE our grandma Evelyn and we are so happy that she is here with us!

We are trying our "terrier best" to be hospitable to our cousin 'Sammie".

We explore with her in the yard and we watch TV with her.

Sammie's favorite TV program is the Incredible Dr. Pol.

We had never seen it before and now we stream it from our computer so Sammie can watch it.

It's a Nat Geo Wild show from Michigan about a veterinarian named Dr. Pol.

He fixes up all kinds of farm animals, pets, parrots, reindeer....sometimes it's kinda gross, but Sammie seems to like it.

 

Yeah, We think this new arrangement is going to work out okay.
