My mom is a 'cracked pot'

In July, my peeps go to an art show called Cracked Pots.

All the art on display and for sale, must be made of 80% recycled material.

Crackedpots uses art to encourage our community to creatively look at trash.

My peeps just like any excuse to take the day off....look at gardens, art and have a good time with friends!

The metal sculptures are always fun.

This was the favorite. The most stunning wheelbarrow!

I wonder if my mom would like a wheelbarrow with holes in it, for her birthday?

I was going to get her one of these...hmmmmm.

Moving on to dessert

If you eat all your veggies,

then, you can have dessert.

WHAT?!?! Wyatt ate all the blackberries that were for dessert! He did not even save one berry for me!

Yup! 

Mom should know that you can't leave unattended tupperware in the garden..hee hee.

I have been taking our visitors around town.

We went out to the wine country.

We looked at some interesting gardens.

We went shopping and met some well dressed Greyhounds and one Italian Greyhound.

I wanted to buy some garden art...I was leaning towards the stone lion, but my mom bought......

Stanzie and I have visitors from New Orleans!

We have been going for lots of car rides!

Stanzie and Emily are dear friends from way back.

Stanzie shows Emily a plant with really big leaves.

Ron likes to walk me...Yeah!

But the best thing is...

Ron knows how to play!

He has an Airedale at home in New Orleans. So, he has lots of practice with Airedale play.

Yep, that's how to do it!

Nice try, Ron..... a little water won't stop me!

The Big Event!!

We joined 'Christmas Tree Grandma' and her team today.

Team Sammy, Tippy and Cousin Cassie for Paws for a Cause.

We met lots of interesting animals....

Dogs that looked like their people...

....And then there was the pie eating contest!

But it wasn't really a pie..

It was a bowl of rice with veggies and some healthy stuff.

Cate and I, lost to a Pittie and a Black Lab, who REALLY knew how to chow down!

Next year we will show em'
