The Big Event!!

We joined 'Christmas Tree Grandma' and her team today.

Team Sammy, Tippy and Cousin Cassie for Paws for a Cause.

We met lots of interesting animals....

Big Dogs...

Small Dogs....

Short Dogs....

Dogs that looked like their people...

....And then there was the pie eating contest!

But it wasn't really a pie..

It was a bowl of rice with veggies and some healthy stuff.

Cate and I, lost to a Pittie and a Black Lab, who REALLY knew how to chow down!

Next year we will show em'

We have visitors coming to stay.

So much to do in the guest suite! There are pillows to be fluffed.

Toilets to be cleaned.

Yikes, there is a spider in the shower!

I have to make the bed.

Gosh, I just love the smell of fabric softener...it does smell like a spring meadow!

We are almost ready for you, Ron and Emily!

We just have to wash the linens one more time...

This Saturday, I will be walking for a cure for Parkinson's Disease. I will be joining team Sammy and Tippy.

It's going to be a great event!

The entertainment is 'Blaze' the Portland Trailblazer Cat!

There is a look-a-like contest and a dog pie eating contest!

Did someone say pie?

I will be escorting my Westie cousin, 'Cassie'.

....And I have invited my BFF, Cuzin Cate.  Let the good times roll!

Hi, Wyatt's mom here. 

2 months ago, my mom, known on our blog as 'Christmas Tree Grandma', because she has a Christmas tree farm, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

We have several relatives on both sides with this disease.

Do you have any loved ones with this disease?

My mom is tough and taking it all in stride. 

Medication helps, but let's just find a cure!

If you live in the Portland, Oregon area, we would love it if you could join us this Saturday at 9am at the base of the OHSU tram. $20 gets you registered to walk with your dog, for a 1K or 4K and you get a really Pawesome T-shirt!

She dug up a couple of moles and did some weeding.

Hey, we have exciting news.

The pool just opened up for business!

I'm also learning how to raft!

We are practicing my doggy boating skills in our pond.

Mom has been using the raft to do some pond clearing.

It's getting a little too jungle like.

So far, I'm excelling at "white carpet rafting" and growling like a pirate!

Aye Matey, I be a swashbucklin' son of a biscuit eater!
