weeds or wildflowers?

Sometimes, when I'm out working with mom, she'll ask me a question like.. "Wyatt, is this a weed?"
I know they are weeds, but I don't tell her. I think they are pretty and we should keep them.
Hey, let's call them 'Wyatt's Wildflowers' and then we can just go play!
Well, we couldn't pass up the 'W' plants and not mention the prettiest Wisteria in Portland.
It's in the Garden of the Bishop's Close at Elk Rock. The garden is perched on the cliffs of the Willamette River. This historic 13 acre garden, is  home to many rare and interesting plants from around the world.
It's open to visitors and dogs on leash throughout the year!
This beautiful Wisteria greets visitors as they park their cars. You can sit on the big green bench underneath and gaze through the vine.

Happy Digging and Dreaming....
Wyatt

  4. "One dog's weed is another dog's wild flower." My mother was always hollering at me for my choice of invasive weeds in my gardens. I liked that I could pick what and where different plants would invade!

    Wysteria are soooooo awesome!

  22. Yes, Bambi is enjoying her new diet. She has only been on it for 3 days and you can see a difference in her!!!! Her shin is looking better, her fur is softer, and she is not scratching at all anymore. In 3 days she is improved greatly!!! I recommend it for all!!!
