Back in the good old days, when Mom and Dad had more green papers...
As you can imagine, the place is decorated in all things Labrador.
Hanging on the walls, there are beautiful oil on canvas, dog portraits. So one year for Dad's birthday, Mom contacted the artist and had Leo's portrait done.
Then several years later for Mom's birthday.
Dad had Matt Warford, paint Stanzie's portrait
What about Meeeee, Wyatt?
Mom says, we are out of wall space and green papers. Doggone it! :)

Those are beautiful. One of these days, I'm going to commission an artist to do something like that for Marge, too. I LOVE good photography, but there's something so beautiful and personal about a painting.

Isn't like magic when an artist can capture your dogs essence on canvas. I just love the portraits we have had done of Ryker. You know Wyatt, their are many fantastic artists at ESTY.com that are very reasonable if your mom and dad wanted to make some more wall space. Wow! Those are incredible portraits! Stanzie is very lucky ;) Sorry George. But, maybe a different artist that doesn't want too many greenbacks will paint you :) If not, well...Mom could turn you into a toon BOL! Just kiddin or .... not ;)

ReplyDeleteI surely know about not having enough green papers Wyatt b/c we don't have many of those papers!!! There are a lot of things we would love to have and there just isn't enough of them!!
Tom surgery, all though, much cheaper then it would be in the US was really not cheap and took a lot of green papers.
I emailed you this afternoon and your carrier would not except it. I don't know why. It is no big thing just wanted you to know.

It always happens that way Wyatt, there are never any pictures of the younger kids! Maybe after the big Christmas tree season mom and dad will have more green paper!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Christmas trees, I wanted to use the redwoods that the crazy driver knocked down for Christmas but Hubby and a neighbor had them cut up and in the green recycling can before I could say "leave it"! Tell your mom they never caught the guy but our fence is fixed so Sunny and Oreo are happy to be off the porch and free to run the big yard!

Those are most fabulous paintings. But dear Wyatt,we think you should have one hanging somewhere at your house too...OR you could say that the one of Leo is YOU! Hoomans have trouble telling one handsome Dale from another anywhooo. We know whatcha mean about the green stuff. Things are tight all around. Mom has mentioned puting US to work. Sheesh.
