Scavenger Hunt in the City!

How do you get people to come out of their warm cozy houses, when it is cold and rainy...
.....And put on bright blue tee shirts and run around the city in search of a clue?
 
In Portland, all it takes is the promise of winning a new car or a cruise to someplace warm!
100's of Portlanders, showed up in Pioneer Courthouse Square today, to play a high tech scavenger hunt with their phones, droids and i-pads.
First team to find the answers and text them back, WINS!
 
We did not come home with a new car...but here is we what we saw today.

It's nice to see hats making a comeback!
Driftwood Horse
(actually bronze!)
 
A baby dog, trying to win a new car.
A little dog, trying to win a cruise to someplace warm!
Some cats should 'just say no' to catnip!
We learned some interesting facts about our town and were reminded that Portlanders are fun in any weather!!

    That looks like a lot of fun....even in the drizzle. We love Zelda, the bulldog and the driftwood horse......some people are very clever.

    What a great way to spend the day! Mom says she doesn't think she's ever been on a scavenger hunt but would have loved to go with your Mom :D Luved all the hats! Happy they are coming back in to style too! :D
