The weather has been a bit erratic.
It rains...it shines...it hails...mostly it rains.
This was the scene at the Hood River, Oregon Harvest Fest. Not too festive, but we did come home with 65 pounds of apples and pears!
This is my personal stash.
I'm starting with a nice ripe Bartlett Pear.
Mom wants to make these mini Caramel Apples, that she saw in a magazine. You scoop an apple with a melon baller, put a twig in it, dip it in caramel and roll it in nuts and chocolate.
Bite Sized Heaven!!
Stanzie says, "Thanks for saving the red pear for me!"

We don't think we have ever tasted pear, Wyatt. You make it look delicious. Mom says she gets so mad when she buys pears at the store, just like peaches. - they always look good, but take a bite, and blech:(ReplyDelete
