I got a new cast today.
It's very nice and blue and it matches my leash ensemble.
I can stand on it to pee. That's nice, cuz I like to switch sides.
Right Pee-Left Pee
But, the leash has got to GO!!
I need to be my own dog...YOU are not the boss of ME!
C'mon, I would really like to go to the pond and have a swim.
Oh crap on a cracker,
The vet said I need to be even LESS active, because the cast is rubbing my skin and now I need to go back every 5 days for a new splint/cast.
Feeling Sad :(
Wyatt
Oh Wyatt, don't be sad. We know your MOm will find ways to keep you somewhat active even if it is on the leash. Better to follow doctor's orders than risk an even longer stretch of confinement:( Chin up, handsome.

We're thinkin' your Vet doesn't have an active Airedale. Looks like you're in for the long haul, mate. Hope that foot heals quickly.
ReplyDeleteSorry buddy, I hate that you can't do everything you enjoy. I hope you are getting extra belly rubs and treats.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Well, crap is right Wyatt!!!! I left you a comment on your postie from a couple of days ago, cause damn Blogger hasn't been puttin' up your bloggie post on my dashboard!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnyhu, sorry abouts the toe and the leash...sucks a big toe fur SURE!!! (oops! no pun intended...okays, maybe it was ☺)
You betters just let the peeps have their way on this one, cause you wants to get better ASAP, so you can go pond surfin'!!
Sendin' tons of AireZens!!!

Wyatt,, I am soooo sorrys! I know you must be so miserables,
ReplyDeleteI know leashes are no fun,,, but its won't last forevers- you need to get better.

tweedles
Dat stinks. Hope your foot heals up fast.
ReplyDeleteOh no the trials and tribulations of sports injuries my fine friend. Hope it gets better soon. Sending healing vibes and POTP. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Wyatt I feel with you. I had to go trough that rough time too once. It's important to switch the sites when you write pee-mails, specially for the pee-ctuation. I always imagined that I'm the one who has the human on the leash and they have to do what the one with the leash (me) want's to do.
ReplyDeleteOh Wyatt....I do so feel your pain. Hope you ditch that fake foot and walking string soon.
ReplyDeleteWyatt we are SO sorry that you are having to be on the walkin string ALL the TIME and that your Dogtor says you need LESS exercise... BUTT at LEAST you can Switch Pee Legs... THAT is grrreat... It is a guy thingy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer, Wyatt. We sure do love your yellow Airedale matching collar and leash and you look so handsome sporting them, even if you do hate leashes!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
I can totally sympathize with you Wyatt, I have been having to wear a sock on my left front foot - I have been licking it too much. I tried to tell mom I could not pee with a sock on my foot butt she did not buy it. Hope your toe heals soon!

O Wyatt that's really horrible walking on a leash, I can't stand that too, and you are even not allowed to swim...... So sad, ask the vet if he is joking for you can stand already on the foot for a pee.
ReplyDeleteWe love to walk in a leash. Then we know were the peeps are :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Wyatt, that must be terrible. Asking a terrier to be less active? And always on the leash? Poor old you.
ReplyDeleteHope its all over soon.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
I'm so sorry, Wyatt. I would be going NUTS by now, so I know how you feel. It will be over soon. Honest!
ReplyDeleteDon't be sad…. milk it for all da treats dat you can get.
