Mopping Monday

Mom is mopping the floors and said I can't come down for 15 minutes.

I can't tell time.
How will I know when 15 minutes are up?

Wyatt

  3. If you come down, and hear a scream: "NO WYATT THE FLOORS ARE STILL WET" then you'll know the fifteen minutes are NOT up….

  6. OH NO..... not the terrible 15 min. torture... we think you only need to wait 870 seconds...

  7. I think you should gently put one paw on the floor -- if it feels wet, then quickly put your paw back up on the step.

  8. When we get our floor cleaned, we head out the door for a walk. That way, we don't have to worry about time!

  14. We bet your mom will let you know if you try to walk on her floor and 15 minutes is NOT up yet, Wyatt! Moms can get sorta antsy about stuffs like that.

    Love ya lots♥

  15. Dear Wyatt,

You need to count: One-squirrel-running, two-squirrels-running, three-squirrels-running... When you get to nine hundred squirrels you can come down.

Wow. That's a lot of squirrels. I'm not sure I could wait while nine hundred squirrels went past. Maybe you should just go down now!

  18. Oh, I just do it anyhu!!! I'm lucky, we got crappy floors , so Ma just uses the steam mop to clean it, which dries instantly. No need to polish or anythings like that.
I don't know how you do it! I likes to circle Ma and bug her when she's doin' thingies like that! BOL
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  21. I go through this every day but Sunday. The smell of the disinfectant is too strong until it dries, so I goes by my nose. That and, "MARLEY WAIT!"

  22. Wyatt, that's the question.... I always have to wait on my bed when we have a wet floor.... and always we have paw prints on the fresh mopped floor... it's like magic lol
