The Tulip Trot

Several weeks ago, we signed up for the 5K Tulip Trot in Woodland, Wa.
After signing up, we discovered that is was not an event for dogs.....Booooo

 
But, we were determined to go and find a way to make it our own event!
Dogs are allowed to tour the farm and store.

After all, there were matching T-shirts and tulip bouquets in the package!

So, we let all the serious runners take off, while we posed for pictures.

Tulip 'Dor-DOG-ne' is for me!

White looks good with every color.

Then, we completed the 5K course when the runners were done.

Samson had a wonderful time.

I got to look handsome in the fields of flowers.

We shopped in the tulip store.

And, I only sat on ONE tulip!

    So early, the tulipfields in our country are not yet blooming, I think within a week or two. Wyat you are looking great between the tulips, no problem you sit on one.
