Tegan, we only put blue ribbons on the very BEST trees!
Then, we inspect the load before it goes on the big truck.
We don't pick the trees with the funny tops.
And when all the work is done, we can "Terrierize" the cousins!

That's a good lesson learned. Mom grew up in Southwest Washington and she remembers going out into the forest to cut down their Christmas trees on a big tree ranch. They looked smaller outside and there were years her Dad had to lop some off the bottom so it would fit through the door.
