Welding a Trellis, Sewing a Dress

Mom has been collecting rusty implements.
Mostly, interesting finds from her Grandfather's old workshop and barn.
Uncle Jim now lives on the old homestead and he helped the folks weld this trellis with some of the treasures.
We love the way it turned out!
This will make a great gift for Mom's mom (Christmas Tree Grandma).

A new hobby for the folks?

and...
Much to Tegan's despair,
Mom also got her sewing machine back from the repair shop.
I dunno...Tegan in a dress?

We both like the Leopard Shawl !!
Tegan agreed to wear that.

It will be good when mom gets back to her real work, BOL!

  7. That trellis is fantastic! We think it's a hobby they should continue. Now about the dress. It is beautiful, but we're not sure Tegan is dress material.

  11. the trellis is awesome - what a terrific way to keep mementos of the past and we love Tegans little dress - but somehow we think she is more of a tom boy :)

  12. Oh Tegan. You're just NOT a ruffly girly girl! Jessie is the same way -- she told Momma she's a COWGIRL, not a princess!
