We can see that they are made with peas, peanuts, pumpkin, apples, tomatoes, cranberries, sweet potatoes and no yucky stuff!!

Mom tried to make a video of us eating the Halo treats.

Bwah ha ha....such a flurry of jumping and inhaling treats...you can imagine the mayhem!

More More Birthday!

Just when I thought this month couldn't get any better,

I received another surprise box from Chewy.com

 

Really, this is all for ME!?!

 

The pup pie was super yummy. I gave Tegan a very tiny piece and I ate the rest!

 

Well, we can let Tegan have the HAT....

 

This is the most pawesome ball, EVER!

 

I played with the stuffy birthday cake, until my sister stole it.

Walkable Weather!

The temps have cooled down and the forest fire smoke has subsided enough that we got to spend some time outdoors!

The first thing our people did on Friday night, was go out for a beer with the neighbor dog 'Keeper' and leave us home!!! Grrrrr

 

They made amends by taking us for a walk on Saturday.

 

Who has the biggest tongue?

 

Miss "Busy Bee" found her own hive.

We started hanging out by the fire again.

Sojos Mix a Meal

What? Chewy.com doesn't send vegetables?

 

Silly Tegan! They sent us Sojos Mix a Meal.

 Grain free Fruit and Veggie pre-mix.

Mmmmm, we do like our veggies around here!!

 

 

Just add water.

You can also mix in some meat of your choice!

 

Then, you must wait for 15 minutes...…What?

That's like 87 dog years.

 

Here is my waiting face.

 

Then, you spend the next ten minutes barking at the mama.

If you are annoying enough, you only have to wait 12 minutes!!

 

A couple of dollops on our kibble for breakfast.

Look, you can see the cranberries, carrots, apples and sweet potatoes!

Oh, SO super yummy!

I must eat very fast, so my sister doesn't try to invade my bowl!

The Tillamook Rock Lighthouse is haunted

 

The Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, nicknamed "Terrible Tilly" is on the northern Oregon Coast.

 

Local Indian Legends tell of ocean tunnels that are inhabited by spirits allowing them to come to the surface of this imposing rock.

Construction of the lighthouse began in 1879 and one of the first surveyors, John R. Trewavas was swept into the churning sea, trying to land his vessel on the rock. The construction crews were attacked by sea lions and nearly froze to death, but the project was completed in 1881.

 

 When the lighthouse was near completion, the barque Lupatia (barque vessel) was wrecked near the rock during inclement weather and sank, killing all 16 crew members, the only survivor was the ship's dog.

 

Storms damaged the structure and there were so many ghosts...…

The lighthouse was shut down in 1957.

In 1980, investors converted it to a private columbarium. With access only by helicopter, it housed 30 urns until their license was revoked by the Oregon Mortuary and Cemetery Board in 1999.
