You might remember back in August, when we went to the beach with the dog friends.
While us dogs were digging in the sand and the gang was drinking beer, our mom was walking around picking up sticks!
There were so MANY sticks! Mom wanted them all, but was limited by her ability to carry only a few small ones back to the car.
It became a family 'Sunday' project.
Dad drilled and chiseled out some planting troughs.
We all helped!!
Mom stuffed the holes with potting mix and little sedum starts from around the yard.
That was so much fun.
Now, we need to go back and get more driftwood sticks!
We♥♥the beach!! Let's go!

I strung crystals from a piece of driftwood and hung it in a window. :) we love driftwood too. If I was more talented, I would make a driftwood garden gate, they are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove driftwood. We collect it ourselves. Great planter. very cool looking. Besides how could you go wrong with such great helpers!!

Wow! Those look exactly like one my Jessy human's projects. She loves those kinds of flowers and plants. They look great with the driftwood.
ReplyDeleteOh look, aren't those logs pretty. What a great project. You have such a clever Mom!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the share. They look so amazing. We would never think to do that with driftwood. Looks like it was a fun project and it will decorate the outside nicely. Hope you two had fun on the beach. Have a wonderful day.
