DIY Easter Fun!

Has the Easter Bunny been cancelled too?
No worries! We can fill our own baskets!
First, we made some natural egg dye with some stuff we had at home.
Red Cabbage makes eggs blue, Beets make russet red color, Turmeric makes yellow and Coffee makes creamy brown.
Then, we pressed leaves and flowers on the eggs and wrapped nylon stockings around them and tied them off with a twist tie.

We soaked some for a few hours and the darker ones, soaked overnight.
Now, we are going to eat them!!

We spent the weekend planting potatoes and snow peas too!

Later, we took a nap!

Hope you have a nice weekend
and find some joy while in quarantine.
🌷🐣
Love,
Your Pal Wyatt

  4. Happy Easter. We love how your eggs turned out. That technique with the nylon is new to us and produced some cool results. We hope you all seem to be doing well in quarantine.

  9. I am going to have to try your method with silk stockings. I can never get my design to stay put. I have glued pansies on yet they come off or just get all limp. I want pretty eggs like you make. I had maraschino cherry juice I use and got the prettiest pink color and it does not stay sticky when dried. Again I love your wallpaper.
