Sometimes, I wonder if plants feel happy and proud when they get pruned...

I know I feel happy and proud, when I get groomed.

Something tells me that this Forsythia feels ashamed right now, cuz Dad pruned it a little to much.

It's okay little shrub, it will grow back!

 

I think this grape vine likes it's new haircut.

It has a good groomer (Mom) haha!

Well, that was about all the deep thoughts I can muster up for today.

Time to eat Strawberries!

Wyatt's Windows of Inspiration

We are inspired daily by so many things and so many of you!

Like the 'Rebuilding Center' in Portland. Or.

Whose motto is, "Just because it's called a landfill, doesn't mean you have to fill it up!"

You can drop off discarded building materials and other folks can use them in many imaginary ways.

Gardening tips from Wyatt

Here are a few gardening tips from yours truly!

Plant some fox flower mittens!!

If you want your veggies in a proper row, stretch out a string.

Wear gloves if you want to keep your hands looking good.

I always steal Mom's gloves, so her manicure is BAD!

Don't forget to prune your shrubs back after they bloom.....Help....

Check under all the rocks for critters...

Take a break when you get tired and hot.

Summertime is Picnic Time!!

This coming up Friday and Saturday (17th and 18th), it's the first annual

Picnic in the Bark!!

The view outside our door...

One of the assignments of this month's Photo Scavenger Hunt is take a picture of the view outside your door.

Here is what mom sees when she opens the front door.

Quickly, she closes the door and goes to the back door to check the view.

Then mom tries to take a picture of a pretty flower..

Hello Bunny!

Today, while posing for Green Bandanna Day over at The Portuguese Water Blog.....

Mom saw a little visitor in the garden....

 

Look Frankie!!  He is not as 'Charcoal' as your bunny,  so we shall call him 'Cadbury'.

 

Mom shushed him out of the yard.

Cadbury does not want to meet Stanzie.
