This is how the first 10 minutes of our walks go..
I want control of the leash. I want to walk myself.
I usually get my way.
Look, I'm walking myself!
I don't need my mom for this.
Even better...going to the ball field.
Stanzie likes a little off leash time too.
Checking out the pitchers mound.
What do you mean...I'm getting benched?

We love the sports park. We get to run around free, too. But we have retractable leads and can't carry them. Good for you for insisting that you can do it yourself!

How we would love to run off leash at the park, but the Momster says there are two many openings in the fence with no gates and she isn't fast enough to catchus:(
