Ooh, what a wonderful harvest you guys had. Harvests are the best times of the year, and mom told us that it is a reason for great celebration among humans:)

That's a lot like what my house smells like right now! We're drying apples and pears, making apple butter, and making pies to freeze and enjoy later in the year.
Awesome apples and pears AND so much better priced than ours. We were very disappointed in the first crop of Honey Crisps that have arrived. Huge and badly marked - guess Mother Nature wasn't too nice to them.
Swiss Gourmet apples! Wow! Where did you see those?
We have a wee little bit of an obsession with all things Swiss in my household :)
I am finding less diversity in the fresh produce around these parts (DC area) than I did when I lived in Oregon...maybe I just haven't found the right Farmer's markets yet.

Wow, my daughter had Apple day at her school on Friday to celebrate Johnny Appleseeds birthday and they got to try all different kinds of apples... It was so fun to help out and learn about them all. =)
We have a devil of a time leavin' a comment here.....but we sure love the look of those apples.....don't get a tummy ache eatin' too many ....ya hear now?
Don't Apples just smell HEAVENLY.. I love those guys. Hey my mom just got a new recipe fur CANNED Apple Pie Filling... let me know if you want it. Super easy and Dad says... delicious.. I (Frankie Furter) wouldn't know. I'm just sayin.
All those delicious apples make us think of canning apple butter. Sadly, our favorite orchard was nearly destroyed by wildfires and drought this summer. The pears we bet are juicy and just perfectly yummy when ripe! Autumn is our favorite season!
Hey Wyatt! Wow, that's a whole great big bunch of fruit!! I'm not a huge fan of plain fruit, but smear a little peanut butter on them and I'm all over that. Yum! Grr and Woof, Sarge, COP
