A little TOO much chow over the holidays
A little TOO much sitting on my furry behind...
and the dog show is coming up in January. I'm going to be manning the Airedale booth!
I have to look my best!
Here we go again!
Okay, fire this thing up! Let's get some buns of steel!
We also have to get in training for Idita-Walk 2012.
Check it out and join me.
You have to get your peeps to walk with you for 1049 minutes from Feb 1st through March 31st.
It works out to 35 walks for 30 minutes each (any combination will do, just reach 1049 minutes in 60 days.)
Last year we joined Bunny and her pack. It was a great incentive to get out and get moving!
Won't you come 'Walking with Wyatt' and 'Strolling with Stanzie'?
Happy Trails!
Wyatt and Stanzie
I am sure glad you did the math break-down on those walks! Otherwise it sounds a little daunting! Go buns of steel!
ReplyDeleteWish we had some room for a treadmill, with the pouring rain coming down right now. Have fun getting back into the swing of things with walking and working out for your big day at the show.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great thing to do. Only trouble over here is we're not allowed outdoors. I think that we'd get dizzy doing 1049 minutes around the living room.... Have a great time though.
ReplyDeletepawhugs, Max
You could borrow my mum's Buns Of Steel video...it's apparent her don't use it.
ReplyDeleteI will be cheerin' ya'll on from da sidelines...which would be da couch...hehehe!
Puddles
Burn Baby Burn!
ReplyDeleteWay to go you two..great exercise tips. We think we all need em! Now where is that treadmill?
Big Nose Pokes
The Thugletsx
After all you're walking, you can come crawlin' with Corbin! From pub to pub! HAHA
ReplyDelete-Corbin
BOL! We may just join you!
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Ruthie
We might have to do that walk this year. We walk about 80 minutes a day....sometimes longer.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad what all that great Christmas food does to us, isn't it. A totally UNFAIR situation.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Cool!
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
Yay Team Steel Buns!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think we all have butts to work off! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteUgh we have to get back to the gym too

Gramma keeps saying we are getting chubby too... even though Mama says she loves us the way we are. We will have to work out with you!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THAT... Walkin with Wyatt and Strollin with Stanzie!!!
ReplyDeleteHummm I'm gonna have to check myself out I guess.. I was thinkin I was just sproutin my WINTER FURS.. maybe this isn't ALL furs after all.
I'd just been thinking about that when we got your message today! We're signing up again for sure! It was a great challenge, and it was fun to compare notes, too. I thought it started in January last year, though! BOL! I have my pin on my hiking back pack, since that's how I get most of my minutes in.
ReplyDeleteBunny
Looks to me like you both already gots steel buns!
ReplyDeletewoos, Tessa
We would just love to get some good walks in, Wyatt. Hopefully the Mom will be able to start doing that again soon. Looks like you had some fun there.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Yeah...too many goodies over da holly-days! Me can't even move.
ReplyDeleteDat walkie will be fun...as long as you don't have to walk straight for 60 days. :o)
I am trying to get him to do this walk-ie bit with you...can't you believe he's hemming and hawing!!! I'll have to stick my nose in his face and tell him it's my way or else:)
ReplyDeleteSo many goodies to walk off.:) You guys are in inspiration.:)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear & Sierra
My mom is a big walker - I support her fully from the couch.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Go, Wyatt, go! We need to be doing a big diet and exercise program here!
ReplyDeleteElyse and Riley
A good challenge and one that will get so many animals the exercise they truly need!
ReplyDeleteWe thought you looked buff
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
We are sitting here thinking you two already look great!! February and March are usually chock full of snow and ice here...mostly ice! We don't get out much during those months...
ReplyDeletexoxo Chloe and LadyBug
That's a pretty cool food dish you've got there, Wyatt. Does it slow you down much?
ReplyDeleteMom and Mitch and dad walk every single day (weather permitting). It really does make you feel alive and keep you in shape! I walk too but not 2 miles!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Good question there Wyatt - the green key is what gets you into the park - a pass you have to buy for entrance to all the parks in our county. Have a great Thursday!
ReplyDeleteYou post gives me "food for thought" and our "furbaby" Mary does look like a walking pork roast. So we just might do it!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful New Year's Eve!
Whew... I need to get back on the exercise track too!
ReplyDeleteI think your "buns of steel" are simply beautiful! Keep us posted on your progress.
ReplyDeleteHi Wyatt & Stanzie, You must have had a good Christmas food and lazing about.
ReplyDeleteSo we wish you and yours a very Happy and Healthy New Year.
Now the hard work starts the weight goes on easy but is hard to lose so keep walking.
Licks Bobby
Howdy Wyatt and Stanzie, we sure have been walking too to get rid of the excess Christmas cheer. It was all worth it though. Mmmmm. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteWoof!
ReplyDeleteI guess I can do 1000 but not beyond that! I am so way out of any walking fun. ;-(
I think we can do that pretty easily. If I don't get Mom out for at least a couple walks a day, watch out!!
