Exercise with Wyatt

A little TOO much chow over the holidays

A little TOO much sitting on my furry behind...

and the dog show is coming up in January. I'm going to be manning the Airedale booth!
I have to look my best!

Here we go again!

Okay, fire this thing up!  Let's get some buns of steel!

We also have to get in training for Idita-Walk 2012.
Check it out and join me.
You have to get your peeps to walk with you for 1049 minutes from Feb 1st through March 31st.
It works out to 35 walks for 30 minutes each (any combination will do, just reach 1049 minutes in 60 days.)

Last year we joined Bunny and her pack. It was a great incentive to get out and get moving!

Won't you come 'Walking with Wyatt' and 'Strolling with Stanzie'?

Happy Trails!
Wyatt and Stanzie

  1. I am sure glad you did the math break-down on those walks! Otherwise it sounds a little daunting! Go buns of steel!

  2. Wish we had some room for a treadmill, with the pouring rain coming down right now. Have fun getting back into the swing of things with walking and working out for your big day at the show.

  3. That sounds like a great thing to do. Only trouble over here is we're not allowed outdoors. I think that we'd get dizzy doing 1049 minutes around the living room.... Have a great time though.

  8. We might have to do that walk this year. We walk about 80 minutes a day....sometimes longer.

It's sad what all that great Christmas food does to us, isn't it. A totally UNFAIR situation.

  13. I'd just been thinking about that when we got your message today! We're signing up again for sure! It was a great challenge, and it was fun to compare notes, too. I thought it started in January last year, though! BOL! I have my pin on my hiking back pack, since that's how I get most of my minutes in.

Dat walkie will be fun...as long as you don't have to walk straight for 60 days. :o)

  23. That's a pretty cool food dish you've got there, Wyatt. Does it slow you down much?
Mom and Mitch and dad walk every single day (weather permitting). It really does make you feel alive and keep you in shape! I walk too but not 2 miles!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  24. Good question there Wyatt - the green key is what gets you into the park - a pass you have to buy for entrance to all the parks in our county. Have a great Thursday!

  25. You post gives me "food for thought" and our "furbaby" Mary does look like a walking pork roast. So we just might do it!

  28. Hi Wyatt & Stanzie, You must have had a good Christmas food and lazing about.
So we wish you and yours a very Happy and Healthy New Year.
Now the hard work starts the weight goes on easy but is hard to lose so keep walking.

  29. Howdy Wyatt and Stanzie, we sure have been walking too to get rid of the excess Christmas cheer. It was all worth it though. Mmmmm. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  30. Woof!
I guess I can do 1000 but not beyond that! I am so way out of any walking fun. ;-(

  31. I think we can do that pretty easily. If I don't get Mom out for at least a couple walks a day, watch out!!
