Airedales can be taught to hunt, herd, retrieve, guard, carry messages through war zones, kill vermin, hold bears at bay, and compete in the ring. The one thing they're best at, though, is getting people to work for them.
That's about the only thing we don't do to our stuffies and that's only because we don't have a pond! And Finn's right, once he dries out, he'll forget all about it.
Doggies who love their stuffies and tennis balls must bow down to the great one - 'the mighty net rescuer' of all sinking stuffies. You are lucky to have 'oh mighty net of the pond' nearby who acted quickly. My friends thank 'oh mighty great net of the ocean' for saving tennis balls but sometimes he arrives too late on the beac...
It is always so hard when you having fun tossing a stuffy up in the air - to know exactly where they land. Mom has found ours in plant pots, water bowls, even caught on the fence.
Heh heh! Aren't nets cool though? (Mom won't let us bring our fave stuffers near water anymore... just those floating kongs or bumpers!) Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! xo Sammie and Avalon
Hey Wyatt! Wow, I'm so glad that your peep rescued Mr Lion! I would have just gone swimmmie...what a great excuse to jump in. But I'm nutty for water that way. Your idea is a lot drier and didn't result in a bath afterwards! BOL. I love your pond a whole bunch! Grr and Woof, Sarge, COP
Whew, so happy Lion was rescued...did you throw him in the water? :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, its a good thing the stuffy got out of there. Hopefully he drys up and is as good as new
