Snacking between meals...

I Like to Eat...All the Time!
I like to be told I'm a 'Good Boy' and get a treat...All the Time!
I'm cute and people want to feed me...All the Time!

But, I want to be a FitDoggy...so I eat healthy snacks between my regular meals.

I love fruits and veggies, especially fresh from our garden.
My favorites are Strawberries, Apple Slices, Squash, Peas and Carrots.
....And here's a helpful tip from our veterinarian.
When your cute dog gives you the 'I'm so cute and I'm starving' look, just give him a few pieces of his regular kibble.

Happy Snacking!
Wyatt

  18. Great post, Wyatt. Mom does that kibble thing with us too. And we get strawberries, blueberries, green beans and carrots. We haven't been crazy about apples but Mom keeps trying different things with us.

    Happy weekend.

  19. Yup, I gets kibble treats too. Natures variety with raw bits is my treat reward for tricks and good behavior! I am not a big fan of friuts and vegi's anymore, like them when I was little but tastes change.

  24. Oh, you're so cute, I'd be giving you treats all the time!

Rita is not much for carrots or most other fruits and veggies, but there are a few things she likes so we try to make sure she gets those. (She loves it when I roast some kale chips. She's so odd!)

    Happy FitDog Friday!

  28. Mom likes to give us green beans because she giggles at the crunchy noises we make. She thinks green beans are funnier than carrots. Go figure. Well, anything to get a treat!

  29. Thanks for sharing your snacking tips, Wyatt. We love our fruits and veggies a little too much and are not allowed to pick them out of the garden. Something about "there needs to be enough for the rest of us..." -Wilhelm, Brychwyn & Huxley
