I hear licking them helps them grow. Green tongues and all that. Yours,
I love me some melon. Have not had that one, but I would be willing to take a bite out of it for you to see if they are ready.Blessings,Goose
Looks delicious. Always better when it comes straight from the garden.
I wish we have a garden too to plant veggies and fruits but mom can only plant greens in a pot.
The perfect way to know when to pick is to have my mom decide it is ripe, then wait another week.Your Pals,Murphy & Stanley
Pumpkins are about our limit here, along with cucumbers and tomatoes (to mart toes) :-) in my mum's greenhouse. but she has grown other things, orange trees for one from seed... Ah, the holidays she used to have :-) Don't get your paws too dirty, if you want diggin done, just call me. Luvs Freya Rose Blossom X .. I take it you have sandy soil ??????
YUM! Wally melon!!
Ha, ha, that is a great idea! When I worked in environmental education, another City I worked with created a poop-toss game - poop shaped sandbags thrown into a trash can. The game was intended for kids but adults ended up liking it too. This would be another fun, educational game to try.
