With temps back in the 50's, we are back in the garden.
We discovered a partial row of carrots and parsnips that we forgot to dig up!
Could they still be tasty?
Mmmm, this Parsnip is just perfect.
The Carrots seem a little past their prime.
One more for the road.

We heard parsnips dug up in the winter are extra sweet! We love them in soup or mashed with lots of melty butter.

ReplyDeleteCan you imagine that we had the first parsnips of our life last year for our Britmas? Mom likes them, me not so much. Butt carrots are great, they are toys and snacks and a house decoration :o)
