Hail and Tulips

Most folks wait until a nice sunny day to go for a Sunday drive.
Well, we are not most folks. 
Oh Hail! 
This is the scene today at Christmas Tree Grandma's.

Also, on our agenda was the Holland America Bulb Farm in Woodland, Wa.
We almost aborted the plan, due to the hail and wind. We figured the tulips would be done for.
But, Stanzie REALLY wanted to go and how can you say "NO" to sister Stanzie?

"Look Stanzie", there are still tulips standing!

    Wow, that was some hail storm! The weather is crazy lately. No more snow here and I'm hoping it stays that way. Tulip fields look spectacular!

    We heard there were some wild storms out there, we are glad you all managed just fine. We had a few big storms go through but nothing serious. Mother Nature needs a big adjustment:)
