It's official, my sister 'Stanzie' is Fat.
The peeps kept saying it was fur and she would look thinner after being groomed.
But, the scales at the vet clinic don't lie...she has gained 5 pounds in the last year.
As she approaches age 13, she is less active, BUT her appetite is GOOD.
So, Stanzie is on rations.
(And Mom and Dad must stop giving her extra Nom Noms, because she is an adorable senior girl.)
More walks, Less Food.
So, how did Stanzie take the news?
She gobbled down her reduced breakfast and kicked me away from my bowl and started to eat my food!!
We made my sister a refrigerator chart.
(A chart for my peeps to remember to stop loving her with too much food!)
Follow along with the Stanzie diet,
as we get Ms. Constanza Marie from 73 lbs. back to her ideal weight of 68 lbs.
We ♥♥♥ Stanzie!
Wyatt and Family
Ruh Roh. Stanzie, I feel your pain gurl!!! Ya knows, I am also 5lbs overweight!! I would say, lets loose this togethers, butts if Gpa keeps givin' me extra treaties without Ma knowin' it, she says I'm never gonna lose the weight! Whatevers. Ma even says she might start hidin' the dog treaties from Gpa...don't worry, he'll just bring over his own..hehehe.ReplyDelete
I'm with ya gurl!!! More walkies is always a good thingie!!
(I don't thinks Wyatt is gonna put up with you stealin' his foodables for long though...)
She had big bones, I understand !ReplyDelete
Diet??? Dat are not a good word!ReplyDelete
SHE says that's very hard for your pawrents...as well as Stanzie 'cause we pups are so darned cute. Stanzie, might be green bean treats for awhile, girl.ReplyDelete
We hear that green beans and pumpkin added to kibble works wonders. You're adorable, Stanzie - not phat!ReplyDelete

Awww, no Stanzie, maybe Wyatt can grow you some super healthy veggies to help with your diet! BOL, you can't steal his ordinary food though! I will join you on your walks to fitness!ReplyDelete
Crikey ..... poor Stanzie. Poor you, too!! She's eating your food?????? That will never do!!!ReplyDelete
We wish Stanzie a pleasant diet. We hope she gets use to less food and doesn't eat yours too!ReplyDelete
Oh No Stanzie, not the dreaded diet! Yes your Momma and Dad must stop giving you those really delicious Nom Noms but how can they say no to such a cute and beautiful face and like Wyatt said you are an adorable senior girl!ReplyDelete
I am on a diet I have gone from 15kg at Christmas to 13kg now and although it has been a long journey and a tough one for my Mum and Dad to stop giving me lots of treats and noms, I am finally able to go in to the Vet and have them tell me how proud they are of me and how good I look! I love your weight chart! Keep up the good work ... even if that does mean eatting some of Wyatts food! Tee,Hee! Love from your furiend Frank xxxxxx
Doggy diets are so hard.....and we doggies loose weight so slowly....a monthly weigh in would be better than a weekly one .ReplyDelete
Do you want us to SMUGGLE some Snacks to you Stanzie?ReplyDelete
You should never ever EVER call your sister the F-word! She might need to get a bit trimmer, but there's no reason to call her names!ReplyDelete
Surely a senior girl should be cut a wee bit of slack?ReplyDelete
Mom says she needs one of those weight charts BOL!ReplyDelete
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Greta
Wow, I gotta bark that you look gorgeous to me! Sorry about the diet, but getting more walkies is a really fun thing. Focus on that positive and I bet you'll feel better after more walkies too.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Pol Comm
Sorry about the lack of treats - but you will feel better! Good luck!ReplyDelete

It's the same with Leo the Labrador. Carrot pieces make good treats.ReplyDelete
