Mom had a GOOD physical Wellness exam!
She is in pretty good health, but her blood pressure is slightly on the high side.
Her doctor asked her to test twice a day, for a couple of weeks at home.
Mom thinks Airedales cause high blood pressure!
Phoohey!
I think that caramel pears rolled in chocolate and toffee cause high blood pressure!
Listen to the dog.
My blood pressure is GREAT!

Well, we hope the BP thing gets resolved for Mom. Maybe she needs you to be her doctor, Wyatt:)

We dogs have the never ending responsibility of keeping our human families ft and healthy...even just being around us makes them healthier...so imagine how much better they would be if they shared HALF of everything they eat!

ReplyDeleteHmmm. We think that along with mom's blood pressure readings, she should record exactly what the Airedale has been up to in the preceding half hour…

Oh Wyatt I hear you. The same thing happened here once. I have it on good authority pets lower the human's bp. So for sure it isn't us. The doc also told mom she was a human humming bird. Mom loves hummers so she said thank you...but I think the doc was telling her she flits about a bit too much and needs to stop to smell the roses ever so often. due to family history she was put on a low dose bp and it works purrfectly. Hugs madi your bfff
ReplyDeleteEverybody knows that having dogs LOWERS your blood pressure. There's scientific studies, and you can ask Bertie Boffin! Your momma is full of something -- and I don't mean caramel toffee pears!

ReplyDeleteOh Wyatt - you are right, it must be her diet! BOL!
ReplyDeleteGlad for a good check up ( mom's BP is always higher at the doctors office - they call it "white coat fever")

We agree Wyatt. They try to blame us for everything. You better eat those apples before she gets her paws on them

Patting and cuddling your dogs are supposed to lower blood pressure. Sounds like not much of that is going on.
ReplyDeleteMy mom has been taking blood pressure meds since her twenties. Dad says it because she's so high strung. BOL
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Doggies are fabulous for your health! But sometimes you still have to take your blood pressure pills.
ReplyDeleteAgreed with yuo about that Apple bol

Studies show that petting one's dog lowers blood pressure.

But not if the dog has chewed another corner off the oriental rug. Oops.
