Sauvie Island Wyatt

Sunday, I went to Sauvie Island.
This island in the Columbia River is most famous for their pumpkin patch, corn maze and other fall festivities.
The island is also home to Cistus Nursery.
Famous for plants from outside our region.

Plants with spikes!

Plants with strange fruits!
(The edible fruit of the Akebia Vine)

And why we were there...to buy this little Olive Tree for our client.
Paws crossed that it makes it through the first winter!

We stopped at the island's pumpkin patch on the way out!

We had a nice sausage lunch and bought some corn and posed with the Zinnias!

I ♥ Sauvie Island!

Wyatt

  1. Mom has always wanted to take me to a pumpkin patch to take pictures of me but I don't like strange places.
