Our folks left us dogs for a week.
They went to visit long time friends Ron, Emily and their Airedales 'Phoebe and Chloe', in New Orleans.
A WHOLE WEEK they frolicked in the sun with Phoebe and Chloe.......while we suffered back in soggy Oregon! (the nerve)
Ron and Emily took mom and dad to several historic plantations.
So many lovely old trees!
There was dress shopping and watching artists work on parade floats.
There was a day hike around Jean Lafitte National Park.
The native Iris were blooming and the gators were active in the bayou.
They toured a cemetery and the botanical gardens.
Mostly, they stuffed their faces....so stay tuned for the final "FOOD" edition and see why pants come in many sizes!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like your pawrents had a good time but we think you two should have gone with them.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the lovely photos.

Maybe we should have a Blogville event on the lawns of the plantation....or a gator hunt. Don't know why we have to be abandoned when pawrents want to go to great places and EAT! (Sigh)

ReplyDeleteI think your peeps owe you an adventure too, but their trip looked very good, so don't be too upset with them :)
ReplyDeleteThis brings back so many memories for mom. Mom and dad spent their honeymoon in the French Quarter and mom lived in LA for her teenage years. We can see that your peeps are having oodles of fun, Wyatt! Bummer that you and Tegan couldn't go too.
