With my visit to the dog show coming up, it was suggested that I brush up on my manners.

I found this dusty old book in the case. Maybe this will help.

Blooms and Bears

It has always fascinated us, how plants will throw out a bloom in the middle of winter.

Several days of 60ish weather and an otherwise leafless rosebush says, "Game On!"

In other news around the yard....

Panda Pull Toy found his way back home.

He needs a bath, but is in good shape...Oh Happy Day!

On the other paw....

Poor Polly Penguin is not fairing too well.

She is still in one piece, but threatening to run away from home!

Yay! Grandma invited me to come over and help her pick out some of the finishes for her new house!

If somebody would trim the hair from my eyes, maybe I could see those books and paint swatches you got there.

First we looked at all the sinks...

Ummm, Mr. Contractor Man...my grandma is gonna need some cabinet fronts and handles here, because she will need to get to the dog food with ease. Just sayin'

Only 355 days until Christmas!

Is it too early to pick out a Christmas tree for next year?

C'mon Stanzie!

I'm thinking we need a least a 20' tree next Christmas!

I'll start marking the ones I like!

I would also like a little tree just for me, okay?

A Good Start

I read today, that what you do on New Years Day will reflect the rest of your year..

I'm not sure if that's true, but I'm not taking any chances!

So, I decided that I would like to kick off my new year with a nice hike.

What do you think about this place, Stanzie?

The doggy paths at Molalla River State Park in Canby, Oregon

With paths to the river,  big open fields and woodsy trails, we give this place 4 paws up!

Then, we came home and packed away Christmas. I held on to the Panda toy, cuz I didn't want it to get packed away!

I've been holding on to him really tight...but NOW he has gone missing!!

He was last seen in a shallow grave under our cedar tree. But I checked there and he's GONE!

Stanzie just came in with dirt all over her nose and she reeks with guilt!

Could you please keep an eye out for my Panda toy. I've only had it for 1 week!

I would call the Blogville police, but it's hard to turn your own sister in for a crime.
