Our Sunday walkie takes us to McIver State Park.
We discover lots of people out playing Disc Golf!
Just like golf, except with a Frisbee.
They throw the disc, down the fairway and try to get it into one of these baskets.
I just about had a melt down....Frisbees without Dogs....HELLO!!
There is a nice path all around the park.
We saw lots of this....
The current was pretty swift in places.
This is a concept I'm not familiar with. I tried to jump in, like it was my pond at home.
Good thing I'm all harnessed up.
Mom can just reel me in, like a big fish!
We saw some pretty native plants blooming along the bank.
I'm going to sleep good tonight!
What a fabulous hike! It was so nice here, but Mom had to go to a baby shower, so I didn't get to take advantage of hiking weather, but we did get to go on a lovely walk this afternoon. I sure wish we could have done something as exciting as your walk, though!ReplyDelete
nice walk Wyatt. Careful, we thought you were going to get swept awayReplyDelete
Benny & Lily
What a handsome "big fish". I must say, you are very brave jumpin' in that water Wyatt - I wouldn't!!!!!!! Tail Wuggles, Rubie.ReplyDelete
Sounds like a fun day!ReplyDelete
That game sounds.... interesting!
Looks like you had a nice splashing time!
Have a good night!
Kisses and hugs
I can't believe you went swimming!ReplyDelete
YES it is really a very much good thingy that you were in your nice and safe harness. You might have ended up... I don't EVEN KNOW WHERE. That would have been SCARY. WHEW..ReplyDelete
Frisbee without Dawgs is a Crime against nature. Sheeeeesh
Wyatt, you gave me a scare jumping in that white water. So glad your mom reeled you in safely!ReplyDelete
Boy Wyatt, that sure looked like fun! I'm glad your mom was able to reel you in!ReplyDelete
Wow, that water looks cold!! I'm glad you had a good time!ReplyDelete
Can't imagine dogless frizbees! Wonderful place to wander......that water looks good, but a bit dangerous.ReplyDelete
Great way to spend a Sunday.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Looked like you had a fun walkie! That stream looks like a lot of fun although it does look a bit dangerous. I remember the time where I got sucked into a current at a waterfall I was playing in. Thank dog I was rescued before it could suck me in some more!ReplyDelete
What a great hike!:)ReplyDelete
Never heard of golf frisbee BOL! Mom says they'd need to make that basket a lot bigger (bout the size of a pond) for her to have a chance ;) The cricks sure are running strong! Good thing your Mom thought to attach you to a fishing pole ;)ReplyDelete
That last photo with you smiling under the flowers made me smile too :D
What a fun and beautiful walkie, Wyatt! We're glad you got to go splashing in the water!ReplyDelete
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
What a fun walk!! We're glad Mom had you all harnessed up - without that, it's a wonder what mischief a terrier could find.ReplyDelete
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Ruairi
What a furry pretty walk, Wyatt!! Just love that last shot of you with the pretty yellow blooms! Did you chase any of those frisbees?ReplyDelete
We're back finally! We sure have missed you guys!
Woofs and Kisses!
The Fiesty Three
Hi Wyatt and Stanzie,ReplyDelete
Did Stanzie go on your outing with you guys??
Yes Bambi loves those strawberries too!! This year when they start multiplying they are going to have to go in the ground and a fence around to keep a few of the critters from eating them. Of course we will not be able to keep all away from them!!! We will have to share, I just hope we will have some left for us.
So happy you and your Mom and Dad had a good time at the park!!
xx, Bambi & Fern
Awesome walk, Wyatt - and such pretty flowers. We have never heard of disc golf, but we think we should all be allowed to play too.ReplyDelete
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Frisbee without dogs? What's the point? stumpy is all kinds of jealous that you went swimming!ReplyDelete
Looks like a super fun walk! And warm, we got snow yesterday, bleh!ReplyDelete
Yeah, Frisbee with out dogs is just plain crazy! It looked like a good idea to have a lead on in that current, big fish. You did give me the giggles trying to ease into the water.ReplyDelete
Wyatt, would you like me to bury some of those eggs for you to dig up.ReplyDelete
I got scawed and was soo happy to see that youw Mom could weel you in..sheeesh, that looked like too swift a watew to mess wif.
I'm glad you had such a good time though and saw bootiful flowews and had fun
you need those swimmies if you are going to jump in that water!!! I hate the water and sometimes they make me swim to see if I've changed my mind...well I have not and I don't think I ever will! You had a great time and that's a good thing!ReplyDelete
Oh Wyatt, what a fun day you had..and we are LOVING that picture of you!ReplyDelete
Hugs and scritiches, Becky and Gus
Look at you in that water! I survived my dental ...they had to extract one of my back molars! Ouch!ReplyDelete
Don't let facebook figure out you are a dog! They will shut you down with no notice. I had a regular facebook account and without warning it was just gone. I have talked to other dogs and cats who have had the same thing happen. Though lots of our bloggie friends haven't had a problem so you should be OK.
Your pal, Pip
Thanks for your sweet words on my blog this morning!!! I am pretty old now a days and not so cute any more!! What little hair I have left is gray now! It is so thin too!!ReplyDelete
xx, Bambi & Fern
The park looks great, it is a good job you had your harness on.ReplyDelete
Be careful of that current!ReplyDelete
Hi Wyatt, That looks a great place to go for a walk. I was wondering if you would go in the water and then next minute you're in up to you neck.ReplyDelete
