You might remember a month ago, when mom got all jazzed about printing pictures on fabric....
Well, she dusted off Grandma's old sewing machine and bought a couple of patterns that looked like the right speed for someone who has not sewn in 30 years.
That's Right....my mom is a Dummy!
It's okay mom.....I'm here for you.
With me by her side...she made a couple of pillows.
And a shopping bag...
It has me on one side....
and pictures of veggie packs on the other side.
S#@** !!&;??; &;##!$# !!!
I heard lots of HBO words and we had many trips to the fabric store for replacement needles and notions.
So.....each project cost about $8,700. to make and took mom about 1 week each.
(so, figuring minimum wage for mom....)
If you would like to purchase some lovely Wyatt Home Decor, the big pillows are $12,000, the small pillows are $10,000. and the shopping bag is $18,500.
sewing is hard,
But Wait, Good News!
If you want a REALLY cute pillow at a price you can afford....

ReplyDeleteSurely, $18,500 is an entirely reasonable price to pay for a bag with a handsome picture of you on the side?
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!

(Might not get any dinner tonight)
I think they turned out great! I love all the embellishments you added. The first couple of projects might take a bit longer, but you will get in the swing of things eventually. Keep it up.

Oh my gosh Wyatt....your mom is so talented!!! We love the pillows and bag! I hate to admit, they may be a 'bit' too pricey fur my pocketbook.....butt, I am sure they are worth every penny!!
ReplyDeleteFURST... All that is floating around in my head is the pic of You with all the Green tomatoes and the Price Sign..
ReplyDeleteSorry buddy.. Can't shake the image.
Now You MUST admit.. that the Finished Pawducts are TRULY AMAZING!!! I love each of them.
PeeS... I can sympathize with you buddy... when MY mom gets the sewing thingy out... it is every GUY fur himself on this hill.

Hey, I think your Momma did a terrific job!
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous! I want my face on a pillow!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable blog! Glad I found you.
ReplyDeleteWow, great work!
ReplyDeleteTell your Mom that she did a great job Wyatt - and my mum says she'd love to live closer and they could craft together!! Mum finds her patience is not what it used to be around the sewing machine.....but she can do most things if she could be bothered. I have a tote bag with me printed on it - but mum ordered that from a print shop. We love the pillows are are worth every cent of those thousands of dollars!
ReplyDeleteTail Wuggles, Rubie
But Wyatt, did she make you a home made, hand crafted, made with love.. doggy bed?
ReplyDeleteWe very much like the pillow with your profile, you look very aristocratic!

Your mom did a GREAT job! The pillows and tote are unique and fun. My mom breaks needles all of the time when she drags out the sewing machine (which is not often, believe me)!
ReplyDeleteThe pillows and bags are beautiful! Your mom is super.
ReplyDeleteWoooo,
Togo, Tagar & Gamby
Seems like a fair price to me...sewing is the worst when you don't know what you are doing. If she got near the machine she's probably actually sew me to a pillow!!!!! HA!!! We keep her away from machines!!!
ReplyDeleteThose pillows and the bag turned out great, even if it did take your mom a little bit to get them done! I think it was well worth it! They look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteBunny
Wow, Wyatt, your Mom did an amazing job on those pillows. We love them!!!
ReplyDeleteLove,

Wyatt, if our mum tried to sew a pillow and it was next to your mums, yours would be worth $12,000 and our mum would have to pay someone to take hers. Don't worry, we aren't being cruel to our mum, she hates sewing. We loved your mums pillows and bag. Grrreat job. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteYour mom is no dummy - she's a genius, Wyatt! I love the pillows and the shopping bag!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch
Those pillows are so good - and unique so worth at least $12,000 I would think. My mum is a real dummy at sewing and was very impressed with your Mum's work. Woofs & licks - Magic xx
ReplyDeleteWow, those pillows are really great!!! It's amazing what humans are able to do, when a clever dog watches them and gives advice. Perhaps I shoud try my Mum to make Kira-pillows and sell them...
ReplyDeleteLove
Kira
Oh your inspiring me again!! I love your photo pillows
ReplyDeleteWyatt,
ReplyDeleteMommy outdid herself and the pillow are truly beautiful. She did great work.

My female servant has got into sewing and other fabric arts. Still no sign of any work dedicated to me though! Your Mom's done some great stuff.
