Wyatt's Home Decor

You might remember a month ago, when mom got all jazzed about printing pictures on fabric....
Well, she dusted off Grandma's old sewing machine and bought a couple of patterns that looked like the right speed for someone who has not sewn in 30 years.
That's Right....my mom is a Dummy!

It's okay mom.....I'm here for you.

With me by her side...she made a couple of pillows.

And a shopping bag...
It has me on one side....

and pictures of veggie packs on the other side.

S#@**  !!&;??;  &;##!$# !!!

I heard lots of HBO words and we had many trips to the fabric store for replacement needles and notions.
So.....each project cost about $8,700. to make and took mom about 1 week each.

(so, figuring minimum wage for mom....)

If you would like to purchase some lovely Wyatt Home Decor, the big pillows are $12,000, the small pillows are $10,000. and the shopping bag is $18,500.

sewing is hard,

But Wait, Good News!
If you want a REALLY cute pillow at a price you can afford....

  4. Surely, $18,500 is an entirely reasonable price to pay for a bag with a handsome picture of you on the side?

  6. I think they turned out great! I love all the embellishments you added. The first couple of projects might take a bit longer, but you will get in the swing of things eventually. Keep it up.

  16. Tell your Mom that she did a great job Wyatt - and my mum says she'd love to live closer and they could craft together!! Mum finds her patience is not what it used to be around the sewing machine.....but she can do most things if she could be bothered. I have a tote bag with me printed on it - but mum ordered that from a print shop. We love the pillows are are worth every cent of those thousands of dollars!

  19. Your mom did a GREAT job! The pillows and tote are unique and fun. My mom breaks needles all of the time when she drags out the sewing machine (which is not often, believe me)!

  21. Seems like a fair price to me...sewing is the worst when you don't know what you are doing. If she got near the machine she's probably actually sew me to a pillow!!!!! HA!!! We keep her away from machines!!!

  22. Those pillows and the bag turned out great, even if it did take your mom a little bit to get them done! I think it was well worth it! They look fabulous!

  25. Wyatt, if our mum tried to sew a pillow and it was next to your mums, yours would be worth $12,000 and our mum would have to pay someone to take hers. Don't worry, we aren't being cruel to our mum, she hates sewing. We loved your mums pillows and bag. Grrreat job. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  27. Those pillows are so good - and unique so worth at least $12,000 I would think. My mum is a real dummy at sewing and was very impressed with your Mum's work. Woofs & licks - Magic xx

  28. Wow, those pillows are really great!!! It's amazing what humans are able to do, when a clever dog watches them and gives advice. Perhaps I shoud try my Mum to make Kira-pillows and sell them...
