The new Berry Queen

With dirt on her nose and stickers in her fur,
We proclaim Constanza Marie......
BERRY QUEEN 2012

She is always busy, rototiling the berry patch with 4 paws and 1 nose.
She has spent hours trying to teach us all how to pick at the peak of ripeness.

Hail the Berry Queen!

Being a queen is exhausting.

  8. Good for you for picking them on your own, Stanzie! We always leave that part to mom and dad so the thorns don't get us.

  10. I think having airefurs helps with the harvesting. No worries about getting poked by plants trying to hold on to their nommy fruits.

  14. How is it that the girls figure these things out? I found the strawberry patch in the front yard and the sweet little tomatoes but Miro has yet to figure out that these things don't just appear in the kitchen. Girl power!

  16. She certainly is a Berry Queen because only queens have the knack of looking good even while performing their duties! How does she do it? Very cute post!

  20. You have a very special title, Stanzie! And something you must uphold for those of us who are berry-slackers. There were a gazillion of those berries out at 1000 acres today and do you think I was interested? I think I need you along for some queenly inspiration.
