We love our flowers....
But, there is something so exciting about the first edible sprouts!
The Radishes are up!
You have to love a little seed that pushes through in 39 degree temps!
Go Radishes Go!!
Fresh salads just around the corner!
Wyatt
Hmmm one veggie we don't like...radishes. Pretty brave little plants though
ReplyDeleteWe have never tasted a radish, but Mom loves them. Just plain with a little dash of salt. Sprouts are cute as long as they aren't brussel spouts - yuk:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Aww it's always exciting to see the fruits of your labour. Or vegetables of your labour in this case. Hehe :)
ReplyDeleteHope it doesn't SNOW on them.
ReplyDeleteOh I am impressed! We can't even plant yet. Not even peas. It's a snow thing. But soon very very soon. I hope.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose

Yay! Sounds like Spring may have showed up at your house...not Winter again like so many others. It's so exciting when things begin to grow!
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Sounds like Spring at your house Wyatt!! LadyBug loves radishes!!
ReplyDeleteWow! You're way ahead of me. Salad in the making!
ReplyDeleteI heard the Mama grumbling at Daddy that the raised beds need to be rebuilt PDQ if she's going to plant this year. I heard Daddy grumbling back about the market garden being a half block away…we'll see who prevails, I guess. Your radishes look delightful though.
ReplyDeleteI can't beleive it. You have green grass and sprouting plants. It is snowing right now here at our place and so cold that My Vickie had to turn the heater back on.
ReplyDeleteCan I move in with you for a while.
Bert
Lucky you planting out already. It is cold and snowing here. We must be at least a month behind and the bad weather is set to continue for a while more.
ReplyDeleteHave a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
We have lettuce, tomatoes and beans sprouting already! We're excited since this is the first year we've tried to grow anything.
ReplyDeleteSam
