The temps are rising.
I'm officially a water dog now.
Could she be any worse at paddling?
Give me those oars for dogs sake!
Here we go....
OUR first winner of the Frosty Paw Travel Pack is.....
(first we have to pry the post it note from the roof of my mouth)
Congrats SARGE !!
No worries, if you didn't win this time, we have 3 more packs to give away!!
Just leave us a comment on this post, before Sunday 7/7/13 10 am PST and tell us:
How do your dogs stay cool when the temperatures soar?
We will have another drawing next Sunday and announce winner number 2!!
Wyatt, you're too up tight. You need to relax & enjoy being with your mom. You're suppose to be relaxed when you're on the water.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments. It's very helpful to get suggestions & comments from Oregon gardeners.
Wow, you are very brave to go that deep in the water! What if something eats your toes? (Ojo is brave - she goes in deep like that. But not me.)
ReplyDeleteKeep cool!
Licks,
Cobi
You will see how Stanley stays cool tomorrow in our post (he stands in the water dish)! Need to get out of the boat and in the water! Congrats to Sarge!

Congrats to Sarge, that luck pup! I stay cool by wading in my back yard when my MM irrigates it (like she did this morning) and by going to the river, and by laying on the bathroom floor. When it is real hot (like now) and me and MOM go hiking she will put ice pack on my neck and chest to cool me down. Happy rowing. OK OK I have to say that my MOM is now singing "Don't rock the boat baby don't tip the boat over." She gets crazy like that in this heat. Maybe I should put an ice pack on her head.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Congrats to Sarge!! We stay cool in the house in the air conditioning HA HA and I like getting in our pool. Yesterday we 3 had baths and that kept us cool for a while.
ReplyDeleteAnother scorcher today!
hugs
Bailey, Hazel & Greta
Luck Sarge!! And, Wyatt, I think you are really, really brave to get in a boat, even if it's with your Mom.
ReplyDeleteWith my black fur, I get H..O..T real quick when the temp go up--agility is hard work in those conditions. Just thinkin' about it makes my tongue hang out! :) So, Mom bought me a cooling coat that works GREAT for walks when the temp is over 70 degrees. We don't have AC, so we go to the river early when it's this hot. And, I also have my own special pool in my backyard.
Omd! Sarge, you are gonna LOVES that prize!! Congrats dude!!!
ReplyDeleteWows, you and your Moms look so peaceful in that raft....I would be a maniac!! BOL
Stay cool my furend!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Sarge is gonna love his prize. Have a serene Sunday and stay cool guys.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly

Condogulations to lucky Sarge! Gizmo loves to chill in the shade, nap in front of the AC and chow down on frozen treats...He had a Frosty Paws today as his Sunday Snack!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Sarge! We get our exercise in nice and early, then snooze away in the air conditioning!
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
Congrats to My the Chief. Hey, that doesn't look like any gardening stuff there.
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Wyatt you look coooooool!
ReplyDeleteyou do have a license to drive that boar don't you :) We don't want you going up the creek without a paddle :)
ReplyDeleteYou've discovered the best way to stay cool, Wyatt! We bet that boat is fun!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Sarge!
Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
Congrats to Sarge! I like to put the bitey on the sprinkler to cool off. It is lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteWalter
Congratulations, Sarge! Frosty Paws is a great thing to win. How do we stay cool...Freedom likes to lay by a fan, Casper likes to lay on the tile floor, and Nikki likes to lay in the grass. Of course, everyone's favorite way to cool down is with Frosty Paws. They would eat it every night if their pawrent would quit categorizing it as a "treat."
ReplyDeleteI get HOT, so I mostly stay inside and lay on the cool tile. Sometimes Mom soaks my harness or a bandana in cold water and puts that on me which helps a lot!
ReplyDeleteNola
Me and Bart got to go to our pond today! It was 90degrees at 7:00 am, but 10 degrees cooler there. Now we're all laying on the tile floor! Aaaaahhhhhhhh.
ReplyDeleteOtto
Your pond is just beautiful. We feel cool just looking at it...of course it's winter here but in the high 60s today. We'll be basking in the sun until SHE can brush all the mud off us.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Congratulations to Sarge. Wyatt, you look good in the water. I don't like being in water that deep too much. My mum doesn't want me to be out in the heat when it's really hot and humid at the same time. She helps me stay cool by turning on the air conditioning when it gets really hot and humid. Sometimes she uses a fan and I like to lay in front of it. I hope you don't get too hot, Wyatt and Stanzie.

Congrats Sarge!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Sarge!!! have Fun! My mom would like such a boat trip with me too - but I said: Naaah! (I'm not waterproof)
ReplyDeleteHey Wyatt!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm so very super-duper excited! Thanks a ton for hosting the event and slurping up my name. BOL I can't wait. For staying cool, I love to go swimmie and I think I'd love to take a ride in that boat too. Woohooo! Thanks again, my good furiend.
Grr and a HappyWoof,
Sarge, Lucky Ducky
Congrats Sarge!
ReplyDeleteWe stay cool by digging deep holes by the side of the house or in our favorite sitting spot. Mom says our yard looks like the moon with so many craters!! But there ain't nothing like cool, moist dirt to lay in. :)
