Un-Caffeinated Wind Storm

The wind huffed and puffed and blew a bunch of stuff down.
Trees down, power out...my plastic swimming pool blew into the next county!
Look!
A yard full of sticks.
How wonderful!

The scariest part was no coffee for Mom and Dad.
They boiled water on the gas stove, only to discover nothing but whole bean coffee in the house and an electric grinder.

We can laugh now,
but it WAS scary!

Wyatt

  1. Better invest in one of those hand cranked grinders to avert any future caffeine crises…

  15. Hey, we think we saw your pool blow through our yard yesterday when it brought all that cold air here too. We'll see if we can snag it if it comes back:)

Mom would be lost without her tea or coffee. Folger's makes a coffee :bag" .like a teabag.that you could use with some of that boiled water, not great but better than none.

  16. Oh no!!! Did they make some tea instead? My humans have a story about the Rochester Ice Storm of 2003, when they went without power for a whole week! Hope you find your swimmy pool!

  21. We had a bad wind storm a couple weeks ago, and it knocked over the neighbor's tree in the middle of the night. It did some damage to our property, but thankfully did not hit our house. And today, winter arrived....how many days until Spring?
