Hopkins Demonstration Forest

Just a quick 15 minute drive from our house, is a 140-acre privately-owned forest, open to the public for self guided exploration.
5 miles of trails crisscross the woodland, connecting a variety of habitats and forestry demonstrations.

Tegan saw a bear!

The Everett Hall can be rented for parties....we need to have a party, it looks nice in there!!

There was so much to see and sniff.

The trails are super!

Poles for climbing.

Targets for throwing axes at!

What's this?

Doggy water pump....

  8. We have a park kind of like that near our cottage...but we haven't been there yet. Mama has difficulty getting around with her mobility issues and Dad doesn't really like to take us without mama. Love all of these pics of you two! Was the water good out of that fountain??

  10. That's a wonderful place to explore Wyatt and Tegan, but throwing with axes does not sound safe, so keep out there, there are many more acres to hike.
