What does your Groundhog say?


We don't have Groundhogs here in the Portland Area.
But we do have "Jabari the Hedgehog", up at the Portland Zoo.
Last year Jabari saw his shadow...Ruh Roh!
Stanzie thinks we should ask our own hedgehog about the weather.
"Hey Hey, what do you say, Mr. Hedgehog?"
What? You don't know? You are like the TV weatherman...bwhahaha!
At least you are good for something!
You are no "Punxsutawney Phil", that's for sure!
C'mon you silly hedgehog, I have to show you something.
Look its spring!

    Punsatawney Phil said it was going to be an early spring. We can go along with that as long as we can keep this snow for a while. No pretty flowers here right now, just lots and lots of white fluffy goodness:)

    We love our hedgehog too - looks like it could be a brother to yours.

    Well, mom says we don't have ground hogs or hedgehogs...we do have ground squirrels but their not talking so who knows. Spring? It's still snowing a couple inches every other day for the past week now. mom says she was thinking of getting a hedgehog but that was before me. Now she says forget it! Wonder what she meant with that tone of voice?

    This is an awesome post! I love those flowers at the end. Gertie the Groundhog did NOT see her shadow, thank goodness! Of course with the storm we had still going, it would have been darned near impossible, but thank goodness! Spring has to be on its way soon!
