No No Wyatt!
Wildlife...not Wild Life
Elk we spotted yesterday on Hwy 101
Just happily grazing a few feet from the highway.
Sunday, behind our grocery store...
Nutria!
They look like a Beaver or an Otter, but with a skinny tail.
"Stanzie, shut your yap trap."
"Your scaring him away!"
Back to work...
Checking on my spinach.
Where are you?
Mmmmm, More Berries fur ME!!
Happy Digging, You Wild Thing!!
Wyatt

Wild Life, he he.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you had Nutria in Oregon. I saw a lot of them in the Louisiana swamp lands. I wish I could start some gardening too. It is suppose to be only 4 degrees tonight and is a cold 10 degrees right now but feels colder.
Oooo...I luved all your wildlife! I watched a show abouts those nutria creatures but I'm surprised you have them where you live. I thought they only lived in Lucy-Anna. That's SO neat!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I also liked your other "wild life," too. heehee!

ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures you showed us today! :)
Woofs and Licks,

Every time we visit your blog, we're just itching for Spring! Are nutria considered pests near you, or just wildlife? We don't know a lot about them, but the one person we had talked to about them seemed to view them unfavorably. We don't have nutria or elk here around us!
ReplyDeleteI'm up to 405, but I didn't get to walk today. Hopefully Mom will put on her rain boots and my rain coat and take me tomorrow night even though it's supposed to be raining!
Bunny

ReplyDeleteThey do exist here as well. Mama has been sitting with me for hours until they got the Babynutrias before the lens. There is also a beaver. Is larger, but we have never seen him before. Only the gnawed trees.
The elk are terrific!
Lots of love
