SOooooo,
on the way home, from a perfectly good dog hike with my Airedale family...
Mom decides that we need to go clothes shopping at the Pendleton Woolen Mills.
I'm not too keen on it, because I already have a fur coat.
Mom has always fancied me in one of those Pendleton wool dog coats..."Pish-Posh" I say, "Those are for city dogs!"
But, we stop for a look see at the pretty blankets and other woolen wares.
Thank Dog, they are sold out of dog coats today!
This is how I feel about clothes shoppin'....Bleh
Wyatt
Hunter will kill me if I try to put anything on her, Lola will roll her eye (because she only has one) at me and just let me do as I wish!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I do anything like that Coco will chew Wawa's to bits and Wawa will tear Coco's to shreds....lucky for them it's hot 365 days a year!
ReplyDeleteWyatt, its a girlie thing. The shopping urge will never be understood or appreciated by men. So Mum says anyway. Mum has brought Rory a huge jacket for next winter. Poor little blighter. I hope she takes me shopping to get one. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteYes indeed! It IS a girly thing...but Chloe does NOT like me to put anything on her. LadyBug will wear anything!! The pics are nice!!!

I would have to agree with our Wyatt! Clothes shopping is boring. we would much rather be shopping for new toys!

ReplyDeleteWell, I will admit that I do Appreciate my Bomber Jacket and the grrrreat coats that my Mom-in-Paw made fur Ruby and Penny and ME... BUTT the shoppin fur clothes.. is pretty darned BORRRRRING fur SURE. Your final pic DOES show our reaction VERY Well!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Wyatt!
ReplyDeleteWow, I don't blame you there! I draw the line at a nice collar and bandana. No clothes for me. At least you got out-and-about a little.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
Mom loves Pendleton clothes. It would be nice to have one of those woolen stores nearby for her to shop at. We never get to go along for her shopping expeditions since the stores here are so not dog-friendly. We hope that all that patient waiting at least resulted in a trip to get some ice cream. And Dad says be grateful she didn't make you hold her purse.
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
There's no Pendleton store around us anywhere. I don't mind shopping, for a while, but sometimes Mom can overdo it! I'm hoping she remembers to pace herself while we're on our trip.
ReplyDeleteBunny
OH I guess that boys will be boys! Me, I just LOVEs to go clothes shoppin!
ReplyDeletewoos, Tessa
I feel the same as you, except for my Breast Cancer kerchief which I wear with pride!
ReplyDeleteAHHHHHHH At least you get to go...she leaves me here in the house by myself when she goes cause she's gone for hours and hours!!!
ReplyDeleteWell gosh, I am a city dog and I don't have one of those wool coats. I admit, I do like sweaters and t-shirts - hope you won't hold it against me.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
I am with you, Wyatt! however, my fashionista sister, Nuka, LOVES to try on clothes...go figure!
ReplyDeleteWe agree - unless, of course, we're shopping for TREATS at the pet store! We would much prefer your day hiking Strawberry Island. How fun was that?! We love seeing you with your family - you're all so handsome/beautiful!
