A Yen for Zen

I helped my Mom and Dad make a Zen Garden for one of our clients!
First, we picked out some rocks that symbolized Buddha and some animals.
We found a big fish, a snail and a frog.
Then, we made a bed of crushed granite, placed the animals so they were looking at the Buddha stone and raked a pattern into the gravel.

Meanwhile back home....
our neighbor has been making these lovely garden screens.
He recently gave us this one, as a memorial, for Dad's father who recently passed away.
We are so thrilled!

Here are some of Arnie's other pieces.

I give it 4 paws up.
If you have a 'Yen for Zen' and are interested in a lovely garden screen, send us an e-mail to wyattsriot2010 at gmail dot com. Arnie's prices are very reasonable....shipping, probably not so reasonable. Just drive over here and we will set you up!!

Wyatt

  17. Beautiful screens - sadly we live too far for buying them. We have a wooden Buddha in our conservatory and have tried chewing it a bit and I think we dogs might make that Zen garden not so peaceful if we started to play there. You and your peeps made it so serene - love from Magic x
